End of the Year Reset: How to Reflect, Release, and Reset for 2026

The End of the Year Reset: How to Reflect, Release and Reset for 2026

I love this time of year. The rush has slowed. The calendar is almost empty. And for the first time in a long while, there’s room to hear yourself think. For many women, this pause feels both emotional and clarifying. Life is shifting. Roles are changing. And that familiar question begins to surface. What now? What’s next for me?

Instead of rushing into resolutions or filling the space with noise, this moment invites something different. A reset with intention. That’s exactly why I created my Reflect + Reset ♡ Method. You can do it once a year. I personally do it every 90 days. Because clarity changes everything. When you know what you want and have a strategy to support it, you move forward with confidence instead of guesswork.

REFLECT: Understanding Where You Are. We always begin with awareness. Because you can’t change what you haven’t acknowledged. I start all my clients with a Wellness Wheel, a simple tool that gives you a clear snapshot of what’s working in your life and what may need attention. It often brings gentle “aha” moments and validates what you’ve been feeling all along. (free download here)

Next, we celebrate the wins. Not the highlight reel kind, but the real moments. Looking back over the year, what memories, milestones, and quiet victories stand out? I recommend reflecting quarter by quarter and using your calendar and camera to help remember. This step alone can shift your energy and remind you how much you’ve actually lived.

Then we look at what was hard. What challenged you this year? What stretched you? What did you learn about yourself along the way? Every season teaches us something if we’re willing to pause long enough to listen.

Before setting goals, we look ahead with intention using one simple tool. Stop. Start. Continue. What are you ready to stop doing next year? What do you want to start inviting in?What feels supportive enough to continue?

From there, I invite my clients to sit with 5 powerful questions: What scares me most about the changes I want to make? What excites me most about the changes I want to make? What truth am I pretending not to know? Where am I craving something better in my life? And what is the one goal I want to focus on this year?

One clear goal creates focus. And focus creates momentum.

RELEASE: Letting Go of What No Longer Serves You. This is often the most freeing part of the process. Letting go isn’t about failure. It’s about growth. It’s about making space for what’s next. I encourage honest, judgment free reflection here. Ask yourself:

What rules have you been living by that no longer feel right? What limiting belief are you ready to replace with a more supportive one? What do you need to release so you can move forward feeling lighter?

You are allowed to outgrow old versions of yourself. You are allowed to make different choices.

RESET: Creating a Life You Love . This is where things soften and open up. We shift into vision and possibility. Choose one word for the year. Create a Life Dream List. (free download here) Connect with future you five or ten years down the road and asking, “What would she thank me for doing now?” From there, we bring the vision into focus. A one year vision statement. Clear action steps. One aligned goal. A vision board that reflects the life you’re intentionally building.

This is where clarity turns into confidence. And confidence changes how you show up in your life.

If you’re feeling the pull to start 2026 differently, you choose how you would like to Reflect + Reset ♡. Some women want guidance and accountability. Others prefer to move through it quietly, at their own pace. Click here to learn more.

Either way, it’s the perfect time to pause. To reflect. To reset your vision for the year ahead. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need to start with intention.
