To be an incredible athlete you need encouragement, expertise, insight & perspective from your coach. “Life Coaches don’t require training, anyone can be a life coach.” This statement is just not true. A great Life Coach must be professionally trained, have incredible communication skills & the right blend of expertise to ensure they can properly encourage clients while determining limiting beliefs, habits  &  obstacles so they reach their desired goals & potential.

Some ask the question “What’s the difference between life coaching & counseling?”. The official definition of a Counselor is a person trained to give guidance on personal, social, or psychological problems. A Therapist would focus on ways to help someone work through anxiety or depression, recover from past traumas, explore past destructive relationships, etc. A Life Coach would offer guidance by clarifying & achieving goals, identifying limiting beliefs, creating success strategies & more.

Books are great, so are podcasts (I love them!) but one-on-one coaching is powerful. It provides consistency, perspective, and tailored success strategies. It’s important to remember, anything worth having takes work. Period.

We will start with a Clarity Consultation by video or over the phone. It’s an opportunity for us to meet virtually and talk about what we will each expect of the coaching relationship and discuss what’s most important to you. Together we will discover possible gaps, opportunities, or inconsistencies in where you are now and where you want to be.

Definitely! All client personal information is kept private & is 100% confidential. What happens in coaching sessions stays in coaching sessions. I fully understand the value of your trust, and we take every precaution to safeguard it. I can provide you with a link to a detailed description of the ethical code that governs every client-coach relationship we enter. This document not only places our standards before you in plain text, but also codifies our commitment to you, the client, and your progress.

Sessions are 60 - 90 minutes each week for 8 consecutive weeks with assignments in between.

The expectation is that clients will follow through with the action steps discussed & agreed upon.  I have found that this process allows for the greatest amount of change to occur. Clients are welcome to communicate with me by email in between sessions.

As your coach, I have the privilege to be an informed partner, as well as a compassionate listener & a supportive motivator, not a disciplinarian. I ask that my clients be honest with me & provide feedback on how they are feeling. Being accountable can look different for each client. With that said, if it’s NOT important to you then it WON’T be important to me.

It’s important to remember, anything worth having takes work. Period. I will provide success strategies & actionable tools that can create real results. In order to make coaching as convenient as possible for you, we offer a couple of options. Coaching services can be offered in person, over the phone or by video conference. If an in-person coaching session is necessary or preferred, then we would conduct your coaching session in person at a local office.

You may choose to terminate your coaching at any time, although it is helpful for your coach to have a week’s notice in order to prepare a final session that focuses on review and closure. Ultimately, that decision is up to you.
